International Partners
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) is Maharashtra’s only state technological university, serving as a leading institution for engineering, computing, and technology education. Located in Lonere, Maharashtra, DBATU oversees more than 250 affiliated colleges, fostering a strong academic and research culture. The university is known for its emphasis on hands-on learning, industry collaboration, and global partnerships, preparing students for careers in emerging fields such as renewable energy, smart manufacturing, and digital transformation. With a commitment to innovation and international engagement, DBATU continues to be a hub for cutting-edge research and technological advancements.

ESPRIT University, located in Tunisia, is a prominent private higher education institution specializing in engineering, business, and digital technologies. Established in 2003, the university is renowned for its emphasis on innovation, practical learning, and its alignment with industry standards, which ensures high employability for its graduates. ESPRIT offers a range of programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education, with a focus on engineering, computer science, and management. The university fosters an entrepreneurial spirit among students, encouraging the development of start-ups and partnerships with global companies. With a strong emphasis on internationalization, ESPRIT maintains collaborations with universities and institutions worldwide, providing students with opportunities for exchange programs and dual degrees.
On Friday, November 8, 2024, the College of Computing at Grand Valley State University signed a partnership with ESPRIT with multiple pathways.
Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is located in West Java, Indonesia, is a globally renowned research institution, currently ranked 256th in the QS World University Rankings. STEI-ITB's offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, with a strong emphasis on cutting-edge technologies, innovative research, and the cultivation of high-caliber future leaders. This agreement will allow students from School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at ITB to pursue a College of Computing graduate program after completing their first year of graduate studies at ITB.

L'Ecole Nationale Superieure D'Informatique pour L'Industrie et L'Entreprise (ensIIE) is a French institution begun in 1968 in Paris. As it is known for its strong Computer Science programs, it made perfect sense for Grand Valley State University's College of Computing to reach out and collaborate with it. Two different agreements - a combined B.S./M.S. and a split Master's - have been established between ensIIE and Computing. To learn more about the details of the agreements, read here.
Université de Carthage (UCAR), founded in 1988, is a public university in Tunis, Tunisia. While evoking the ancient city of Carthage (now part of Tunis) with its name, UCAR is a thoroughly modern institution, offering hundreds of degrees in a variety of fields. The work they do in the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology is a perfect fit with Grand Valley State University's College of Computing. Representatives from both institutions came together in mid-February 2025 to formalize their academic collaboration. Started in 1987 as "Université des sciences, des techniques et de médecine de Tunis", L'Université de Tunis El Manar (the University of Tunis El Manar (UTM)), located in Tunis, Tunisia, has a long tradition of scientific learning. Boasting not only a Higher Institute of Computer Science, but also a Higher School of Health Sciences and Technology, UTM is an excellent match with Grand Valley's College of Computing.
